Um, me!
My favorite room is always the kitchen. I love watching how they can completely change the space by renovating, knocking down a wall or 2, and then staging it to look like my farmhouse dream kitchen!
But let’s face it: I’m not gonna be knocking down any walls soon. Annnnnd I’m probably not going to be tearing down my cabinets to add open shelving. Y’all know I’m all about that easy DIY life.
But what I can do is decorate. And I can do it the only way I know how: on a budget.
Today I want to show you some budget-friendly farmhouse kitchen accessories that I’ve put together for you (and me…because I’m some of these are definitely going in my cart)! You’ll find some kitchen accessories that are purely for decorative purposes; others you will actually be able to use…and some will be both! Pretty and functional!

Farmhouse Kitchen Signs
Can one have too many signs? The correct answer is “no” people! Two of these I already own, and the others are so dreamy! Which one is your favorite?
My large custom made kitchen sign from 2TreesStudios is one of my favorite things about our kitchen! Here I have it styled with some thrift store baskets!
Canisters & Food Storage
Now this is what I’m talking about! Something for your kitchen that’s pretty and functional! Any of these collections of canisters would look beautiful sitting on the counter of a modern farmhouse kitchen.
Other Food Containers & Storage
Don’t even think about hiding these foods in the cabinet or pantry! These farmhouse inspired food storage containers would look beautiful on the counter, displayed on some open shelving, in some baskets, or some even on a tiered tray! (P.S. See below for all the above mentioned)

I love to use baskets in my kitchen to be both decorative and functional! Below you can find a couple of ways I’ve used baskets in my kitchen for different purposes.

Lighting
While switching out your lighting isn’t as easy as plopping some canisters on your countertop, it really does change the entire look and feel of a room. It makes a big statement for a small price.
Wood Accents
I love mixing in some wood tones and accents into my farmhouse kitchen decor. These would look great displayed on a shelf, counter, and for actual usage!
Baskets and Trays
If you’re not into tiered trays (or even if you are), baskets and trays are a great alternative to displaying a few decor pieces. These would also look great in a coffee bar!
Textiles
Modern farmhouse textiles are my absolute favorite way to change a space. Table runners, rugs, towels, placemats….all of these can change the whole feel of your kitchen without breaking the bank.
