Come take a tour of our home decorated for the month of love in “Home Tour: Valentine’s Day Home Decor”!
Happy Love Month friends! January felt about a million days long, and I’m so happy to be entering a new month!
Valentine’s Day is such a short holiday or “season”…but I love all the pinks and reds and hearts that come with it! So I usually bust out the Valentine’s Day home decor as soon as I take Christmas decorations down. And I’ll leave it up through the end of February, where I’ll transition to spring. That way I feel like I can enjoy it a little longer!
If you’re looking for some budget-friendly, farmhousey Valentine’s Day home decor, check out my top picks! So many of these items transition nicely into spring too. You’ll even find a few of them in this little mini-tour below!
Let’s have a look!
Valentine’s Day Home Decor
Entryway
entryway table // pom-pom pillow covers // lantern
I really only change a few things out on my entryway table each season/holiday, and I keep it pretty neutral for the most part. But, I do love the subtle pops of pinks and reds for Valentine’s Day.
The heart banner is a super easy DIY that I saved to my Instagram story highlights, and the pom-pom garland is just Dollar Tree pom-poms strung together on some fishing line using a needle. Super easy!
Living Room
pom-pom pillow covers // lantern // galvanized metal planters // eucalyptus stems
I love how some Dollar Tree faux flowers jazzed up my hanging planters…so easy and budget-friendly! Another favorite is the printable stamped book covers from Simple Made Pretty. They give the illusion of the popular hand-stamped books…but without all the work!
The white chalk-painted end table is a DIY that you can find here!
Kitchen & Dining Room
farmhouse dining chairs // lamb’s ear stems // letterboard
These DIY farmhouse shelves are my favorite thing to decorate each season/holiday! You can find the tutorial over on Instagram on my story highlights, and the DIY for the pom-pom banner over here!
The farmhouse table is a trash-to-treasure DIY that I did last year when we moved into this house…it’s still one of my favorite DIYs to this day! You can find the step-by-step tutorial, here!
This is another favorite area in our house! The giant clock is a DIY from one of our best friends, and I’m still so obsessed with it. As far as the console table/bookshelf/whatever it’s called…it’s more of a mix of Vday and spring!
Bedroom
I pretty much have zero V-day decor in our bedroom, with the exception of this heart banner, which was a super easy DIY using a package of foam hearts from Dollar Tree. You can find that tutorial over on my Instagram highlights.
Thank you so much for coming on this little Vday home tour! My hope is always that you’ll be inspired and take away some sort of inspo/encouragement to try some of these DIYs or simple decorating tips. And if so, I’d love to hear from you!
